Your pond is lovely and I'm sure it is a peaceful retreat on days when life just gets to be a bit much. I can just imagine lazing back with a cup and a good book listening to the water. sigh.

Thanks, it's a small pond, but it sounds big. LOL I sit on my swing and embroider sometimes. I love it.
What a sight! And I ain't talking lily pads here!
I love it!!! It reminds me of the pond a former neighbor had (this was when I was a little tyke!). She used to let us come down and play with all the little frogs that resided there. This was in the days when it was safe to let your child walk down the block, with no fear of strangers taking them, so there was always a group of at least 3 of us, from ages 2-5 trotting down there.
I could sit there for hours and watch her fish and frogs and blow the flowers across the water (or at least try). Parents always knew we were there, and we could stay until she decided to send us home

Howdy! Great pics, LN, thanks! I see the frog at the pond; no pictures of the toad, thank goodness.
Hey, have you got your kids quilting this summer?
That lily is about the SIZE of my pond. Guess having one of those is out of the question.
