ROFLOL--- almost on topic

Back when we had cattle and horses and goats and chickens, ducks, guinea fowl and geese and owned many acres of land, I had a professionally made sign to post at our driveway...... "Doodlebug Ranch and Quilt Studio". Well, I no longer have all those critters, but when I built this house I posted the sign at the end of the driveway because it was eye catching for all the tradesmen who were looking for the building site.

Today's mail brought an offer from SewNews for a free sample of "an exciting new magazine". It starts out-

"Dear Doodlebug R. Quilt"

Thanks, I needed that...... ;-)))))

I call my dd doodlebug. When we looked up doodlebug, we felt it was prophetic.

"a small jet-propelled winged missile that carries a bomb" (just one of the definitions)
