Interesting article but the best part was about WalMart bringing back cut-to-order fabrics and adding more notions. That's a biggie for those of us who prefer small town living! ;-)

Thanks Jenn. All this high tech is part of my sewing machine shopping problem though. I tease I was born a hundred years too late. Maybe it really is so. Leslie, I guess we need to shop at local shops as we can to keep the demand up. That includes Walmart. We need to let them know with our dollars that we want those fabric depts. kept alive. I found the cutest wild flowered thinwale corduroy at a Walmart we stopped in last week. $3.00 a yard and it is really nice stuff. I haven't seen or bought fabric at Walmart in a long time. Taria
