Sewing related-Oragami purse pattern

I found this site when cruising through some blogs the other day. It has pdf directions for a cute little origami bag.

I made one from fat quarters and my bag turned out to be about 7"x7" once I trimmed the fq's to squares. One additional sewing note: you need to stop sewing from 1/2" to 3/4" before you get to the top of the sides so you can accomodate the drawstrings. I also squared off the bottom corners as you would do when making a purse.

This was fast, fun, and the purse/pouch would make great quick gifts, perhaps with a little Easter gift tucked inside. They are fast enough to get several done before Sunday.

Those are so nice, and they look like fun to make! I think I could make a bunch of those for Christmas gifts for the gals at work.
