Some projects finished

Earlier this spring, I made a table runner for a shower gift. Photos at and (or and ).

Last week, I made a wall hanging/banner for my nephew's wedding. The bride wanted something similar to the front of their invitations, so this is the result. or I machine quilted about 3/8" on both sides of the seams. After quilting, I fused the lettering and the heart. I did a machine buttonhole stitch around the heart and free-motion quilted just inside the edge of the letters. Everything for this quilt was from my stash. The squares for the top were from the baseball swap -- the first time I had used any of them. I'm happy with the results; I hope my nephew and his bride like it.

Really nice projects! The lettering on the wall hanging was really striking against your pretty color choices. And I loved the table runner, too.
