swap idea #2 is anyone interested?

Is anyone interested in doing a *siggie* swap? I'm thinking a nice easy block like an Indian hatchet (6"background square with 2 corners of 3" in scrappy colours)

**signed blocks** 6" finished size make as many as there are participents. if there are more than a reasonable amount I will split and make 2 different groups of swappers. colours - scrappy! with cream or beige or white scrappy background colour. mailing deadline somewhere in September

I would be interested, depending on timing.

mailing deadline would be in September (I'd have to find out when school holidays end in the USA) or maybe even in October with a signup deadline of march 1st so as to give everyone plenty of time to make the blocks

the timing is something we would be able to discuss within a yahoo group :-)

Pat I wish I had been in on that one! If there is another one like that I would like to do it.

Will you send me a siggy block Pat?

hey denny, there are two new groups set up in yahoo by jess. one is for the siggys, one for the starry starry night swap. for siggy, try RCTQ search in yahoo groups. see what comes up. that might be RCTQ SSS2007 or similiar the other is probly just Starry Starry Night something. i'm sure you'll locate them both. hth, jeanne

thanks, I found both. Never made a star before so that might be interesting. I have stayed away from triangles but will work slow and carefully. How are things now that you are back home?

Great :-)

about making the stars: feel free to ask questions! there is no such thing as a silly (etc.) question just stuff you don't yet know or you don't understand (some directions can be *so* fuzzy!) that's why I set the groups up :-)

Either swap would be a good way to use up scraps. I love it! Actually, I like #1 better.
