Thanksgiving - Canadian

Some time back I posted a question about going to a Thanksgiving Day lunch and if I should take something foodwise or make a gift. After your great advice I made a little table centre-piece.

I would like to say it was held on Sunday 2 October and my gift was a big success as was the lunch. We had all been asked to bring a curry dish I had made (I cheated and used my cousin-in-law who is an Indian). There were 12 different curry dishes and they were just wonderful. DH and I had a great time and have been invited to next year's.

Thank you for your very sound advice, I was not nervous about meeting the 'boyfriends' parents who were very gracious.

The lunch was for a multitude of reasons,

1 - a wedding the day before. 2 - 4 birthdays - all in October 3 - 1 anniversary 4 - for us to meet the boyrfriend's family.

Regard,

I'm glad it went well. An all curry Thanksgiving sounds very interesting.
