Have you tried google? This is one website I found when I googled "wine bottle gift bag pattern free":

I just made one last week. I cut the fabric 7 inches wide and twice the height of the bottle plus 12 inches.
Fold to the inside, 1 inch at the narrow ends, and top stitch it down.
Stitch the side seams (the bottom is the fold of the fabric.)
I don't know how to explain the next step! But you line up the side seam stitching with the fold on the bottom and stitch across the triangle that is formed. It's what you do for the bottom of a tote bag. Repeat on the other side seam.
Turn right side out, add your bottle of wine and tie with a pretty ribbon.
Super simple and the receiver was very impressed.

I've seen them with handles, with drawstrings and with neither - using just a ribbon around the bottle neck to keep it in place. I guess if it's a great wine, the bag won't matter. If you buy it at the local gas station, it probably won't matter either. Polly
"Linda Franklin" Thanks to both of you!!!!!
Hmmf! I think I'd need a tote bag for my box wine. LOL

I don't know of a free one, but I know I made one before using instructions from an old Singer Sewing Library book. I think maybe one of the holiday books.

At the local Target store, I saw a cover and a stand for a wine box. These were for a specific cube shape box. It was a black heavy slip cover and a 'wrought iron' stand. These allowed the wine to be served while hiding the box. NAYY. PAT
