Winna, Winna, Winna - but DH????????

OK, I do ALL the Fab Shop Hops and Mall Crawls, so you'd think the odds are in my favor, right?? Wrong!!!! DH purchased a kit for me in June from the Fine Needle for my BDay (in July) and what happened, he won the $25 gift certificate for the monthly drawing from QuiltShops.com!!!!! Of all the nerve!!! Of course, he sent it on to me, so all is now right with the world. He won $25 and free shipping at Havasu/Turtle Stitchery so I ordered some Really Kewl patterns!!! BTW, the kit he bought me (with lots of suggestions) is the "Seasonal Circles" pattern in the "Mocha Java" colorway - navy's, greys, etc. - just lovely! The kit is very nicely packaged also - binder with page protectors, swatches to match to the EQ type computer "fabric", bulk cutting instructions for the various patches (as opposed to month by month cutting the SAME 4 Flying Geese!), and a lovely grey ribbon wrapped around the whole thing. I can't wait to get started, but I MUST finish my Pansy Park first! Lorraine in Los Alamos

Howdy! Oh, you want comments? Well, I'm not surprised at your DH; I mean, mine is comparable, as far as quilty stuff goes. The man can tell the difference between handquilting and machine quilting at 20 paces. He knows where the LQSes are, he helps me carry in my fabric and quilts. Only exceptions would be commentable. Cheers! Ragmop/Sandy--Finished is good ;-D

How sweet of him to share his good fortune with you! :-) Are you going to make him a quilt with your gifts??

HEY!!!!!!!! Guess what showed up today--thanks Dee for keeping the Original. Twin Mom--you trying to get Miz Sairey to 'rent' again? Second comment--did he give you the Prize--or is HE going to start quilting now Congrats Butterfly (don't CARE who wins--so rare round here--that we all share if it's sharable--if not, we just share in the Happy Happy : )

Oh YES! Firstly, the Seasonal Circles will be ours alone (WHAT!), not a gift for anyone else. We're selfishly going to use it for our own bed quilt. (It's about time!) And I'll certainly put his flannel treat higher on the "finish me" list. :-)

WHOA! STOP! First enjoy the WHOLE quilt.

Now look at each block now look at each 'square' now look at each piece of fabric now look at each stitch.

SEE, it isn't so bad after all...just one piece of fabric sewn to the next.....and then those two sewn to the next two...and pretty soon

Butterfly (whaddayamean I'm D> OMG!! That's a lot of tiny pieces!!! I'm not sure I'd have the patience
