Woo Hoo! Spike and Giles will Happy Dance for your finished top - I'm too tired after dealing with school officials all afternoon.
It's gorgeous, Ann! How are you going to quilt it?
Ooooooh, what lovely batiks you used, Ann! :)
Ann, the name is perfect for this one! I love it, thanks for sharing. Let us know what design you decide to use for the quilting. Well done!
I suggest.... you send it out to be quilted. How's that for non-commital? I like the idea of slithery snakes. Or even a spiral all-over, to suggest the trails of lizards and snakes.
Great job! Best I 'v e seen of this pattern!!!!!!!Haven't tried it yet but I WANT TO....too many projects now to start another.
I will save my dance until after sundown, when the heat is less! Well done!
That is lovely, Ann. I have never seen anything in those colours - it is really great. Thanks for sharing it. I would *have* to find a way of putting lizards on it!!! That kept on coming into my mind! No, doesn't matter what the quilting pattern is really, it will stay beautiful. Just don't put too realistic cacti on it!!! It is for sitting on after all >g< . ***** Queen of Plaids ******Sherry, is it the one on Menaul (I think that's how it's spelled). There is also another one outside of town.
Very nice Ann, I've just started mine in earthtone batiks, I'll post when it's done (unfortunately I haven't been getting much sewing done lately. Thanks for sharing your pics.
