12x12 paper storage

Congratulations, Larry not watching where he was walking crashed right into the tower of paper that has stood in the same area for the last 3 years causing all my 12x12 paper to go flying and the tower to crumple all over the place. He was trying to climb over the wire to the fan and now everything is a disaster. The tower is destroyed and now I have to buy something to store my paper in a better fashion without taking up much room.

Can you guys show me (via links) what you guys use. Granted I'd love what Dave has but since I don't have wood or a woodworking room to create something, I'd appreciate your feedback.

thanks Kate

Kate I use 3 Cropper Hopper Vertical Paper Holders, put the printed paper in the pouches and use the paper holder for cardstock. I store the overflow in Iris scrapbook cases next to the stack of paper stacks. I have quite a bit of paper and it all fits in a 2 shelf bookcase from staples which incidently are 50% off this week.

Kate, I use the three drawer 12x12 plastic storage units from Wal-Mart for all of my paper and cardstock. It works well for me, and I can take a drawerout of the shelf when I want to use from it I have drawers that have shades of cardstock sorted in it, drawers that are sorted by holiday, sports, baby, wedding, etc. and they all fit on my shelves or above my cardfile cabinet. I went to these after all of the water damage last year when my cardboard storage units were destroyed.

I use the cropper hopper vertical storage for paper and cardstock. I also use some of the three drawer units Sandy was mentioning. Top of my desk with cropper hopper units:

you can get this at Hobby Lobby with a 50% off coupon and i think they are even cheaper there too!

I also have one of those wire units, and find it works better for me on its side (to store vertically) page kits and such. My dad built me two wooden units one large and one small. so I have an assortment! :-) HTH! I hope you find something useful! Linda

I use the 12x12 plastic drawers to store my cut paper (I have two sets but I really wish I had a third...), a cropper hopper for my cardstock, and a vertical file for my patterned paper. All my paper fits onto one shelf of the bookshelf so it's nice and neat.

I use the Cropper Hopper 12 x 12 paper holders for most of my paper. Most of my paper is in those, and sits on 1 shelf in a 30" bookself. Cropper Hopper also has dividers that you can get to make it easier to find the paper you're looking for.

I also have 2 3-drawer units. I've seen them here at Wal Mart & Hobby Lobby, but they're made by Sterilite. Here's a link to Sterilite, and if you click on "Retail Info" they have a list of stores that sell them. The 3-drawer unit I have is number 2093 on this page:

(the # is part of the link, I think) I've seen this, too at Hobby Lobby. The ones here at our Hobby Lobby come with a dust cover, too. I'm keeping my eye on it and seriously considering getting it. It would then free up a shelf for other stuff that I have on my table, etc.

And if we REALLY want to drool, Michaels is carrying something called "Jetmax Modular Storage". OMG! It's so pretty! *drool drool* I haven't seen it here in the Michaels store, just found it online looking for something.

I use wire cube storage that I got from Target for about $20. I made 2 tall and used the rest to make shelves inside the cubes at the levels I wanted. Works great.

I used black nylon ties to hold the shelves in place. I've been using it about a year and it works perfectly. I'll try to remember to take a picture of the one I made and post it tonight ya'll.

That's it. Thanks for posting that picture because as usual I got side tracked and didn't get the picture taken. It works great. Tam

You can also use the cubes a little differently by opening one on the top and using the sides with s hooks to store stickers etc...

hi

this is exactly what I have and it was zip tied together. everything collapsed.

I think I'll get another cube for my desk and rethink my sticker storage.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. Since I'm confined to a small table and nothing else it is hard not to be jealous of everyone's spacious girl caves. LOL

The connectors came with the kit when I bought it, but that was years ago, so I can't help with where I bought it. Might have been Sams.
