Are there any kiwis in this newsgroup?

Hi I am just wondering if there are any kiwis in this newsgroup. I am wanting to meet up & talk with kiwis who are doing scrapbooking/rubberstamping. I am just at the begining stage myself but would love to hear from anyone that lives in NZ that wouldn't mind shearing their ideas with me. I have yahoo & MSN so I can make contact that way or just by plain email. I am not wanting to steal people's ideas. It's just more of help, advice etc. Nothing more. And if anyone lives in Upper Hutt that would be great as well as I would really like to do a scrapbooking class, but don't know where to start looking.

Hey Penny! I'm in the US, but I just had to laugh when you said you didn't want to "steal anyone's ideas"! We do it all the time, we call it "scraplifting", lol!! Take a look at some of the pages and cards we post from time to time, and "borrow" ideas from the scrapbook magazines if you get any there in NZ. I copy work all the time, with my own pictures and embellishments they become my own work. I hope you find some scrappy friends there, and let us know how you are doing from time to time!

Penny, Hi and welcome to this group of great scrappers!! We do have a couple of Kiwis that don't post anymore due to very full real lives but some of us keep in touch. I will pass along your addy the next time I talk with one. They are great ladies and wonderful scrappers,stampers,crafters. Check out our website and find out about us. Some of us have our bios there and access to examples of our creativity. Also there are a lot of informative,neat-o things there. Hope you will visit s often and share if you can!
