Well I am back from stamp convention in Carson California. I will load pictures before supper time. Fly down there starting at 5 am at the Amarillo Airport. and got to hotel at 230pm. Convention was Saturday 9am to 5pm. I saw Dee Gruenig and her husband, and Tim Holtz. Judi from Judikins was at a show in Albuquerque so I didn't get to see her.
I got unmounted rubberstamps from about 3 booths, distress stickles from Tim's booth. Several stamps from Dee's group. Some stencils from another booth. Some pergmano (?) stencils, vellum sheets, and a few other things. I even have a few being mailed to me becuase they were out of them there. Dee Signed my 8 x 10 I had of her from the cruise. She was again excited to see me. Her husband handed her the folded dollar star and the instructions I made for her and she immediately turned and said "is she here?" Then got up quickly to see me. I got to have a few times during my walkings around and restings that Warren came and stood there and talked to me. I didn't win any door prizes. I took many pictures but not a whole lot. They are in my album under LA trip.
There was tooooo many ladies and girls around Tim to even get up there and sit and watch what he was doing. I did see Tim Holtz and a few of his group were a few tables from me at Chilis that night. I went to Target and got some $1 items like jewels and snowman cookie bags, and a few ribbons. Went back to Hotel and waited till my ride showed up at 745am Sunday morning. At about 1130 a plane pulled in and people unloaded and you'll never guess....I didn't have my camera ready stupid me!!! in the LA airport and I should have had my camera ready at all times. I recognized a face walking right in front of me. I asked for a picture unless he was in a hurry and he explained he was late for an appointment and rushed off......... it was KEVIN SORBO (you know of Hercules or the Andromedia series) OMGosh.... my heart was pounding!!
