Started out rough but made it. We left Friday about 30 minutes after the blizzard started. We had to drive directly into it, to deliver my DD to her G-Grandparents about 1 hour west of here. We then ventured back to Shamrock slowly (10-15 mph). Then we headed south. about 30 minutes and we were out of everything. Clear as could be, just cold and windy. Dave wasn't far behind cause the storm went straight towards him. We all arrived in Alvin Texas at a nearby hotel and stayed the night. Next morning we went to the ferry to go to Crystal Beach. Turned around immediatley and came back on same ferry. Fed the birds off the back. Then to the car lot to leave our vehicles and Dave swelled up with excitement. We got onboard and went to the buffett to eat for lunch. Next was go to our rooms, saftey drill, and then pulling away from port. We saw some dolphins. Pelicans and more seagulls! Grand Caymans, Cozumel, and Jamaica were great. By the time we got to Jamaica, dave and Darrell and I went our own ways for the day. Just to get different pictures and different places. He wanted on the water we wanted to stay on land. Coming home, we got up 530-6am went downstairs and off the boat at 7am. I got home at about 8pm last night. We had to alter our driving a tiny bit to swing around and get DD first. All in All a great trip. Can't wait for the next one in December!
