Thei is the reply I received from Clearsnaps concerning their Fluid Chalk product. Thought you might want to know. Sandy
Dear Sandy, Thank you for your email. On the Acid Free issue, these inks are not all technically "Acid Free", because in order to determine acidity the ink is in liquid form and in liquid form the inks lean towards the acid side of the scale. They are NOT extremely acidic just not pH neutral. On the plus side, the "Chalking" element of the inks is quite basic and seems to stabilize any acidic effects after the ink dries. They do have good archival qualities, once dried completely, our scrap booking artists are all avid Chalk users and have not called in any adverse effects in their projects or any of the classes that taught. Have a great day, April Thomas Clearsnap Inc
