I was wondering how many albums is everyone working on at the present moment. I am working on 1. My Dylan tribute album 2. Album for my dad's 50th birthday (need to hussle on) and 3. Zoo album from our trip last year to the Bronx Zoo.
Chrissy Pages for 2005: 17 Cards for 2005: to many to count
Mmmm Chrissy, I am currently working on three and have done about thirty in the four years I have been scrapping. I've done a few as gifts and that was very satisfing because they were not expecting them and were the type who would appreciate them. I am looking forward to doing wedding albums for my two daughters, one has been married a year and the other will be wed next week. I also have a baby album to do and I am excited about that. I have done albums for all of my kids and a few of my grandkids. We enjoy camping and I have an album for those occasions. Strangly enough, they don't all look the same. I guess that's because My DH and I have such a good time we never have the same type pictures. One of my favorites is me walking our old cat on a leash through the woods .LOL
I am actively working on one for my baby girl (6 1/2m. old) but my head is swimming with plans for a bunch more... Mom & Dad's 25th Anniversary My Wedding Grandma & Grandpa's 50th Anniversary Upcoming Trip to PEI And then there's all the ones I can't wait to do when my baby is older and we go camping, go to the zoo, etc... SO MANY IDEAS!
I started listing the albums I am working on for the NSSSF swap and thought I better stop before I got overwhelmed. *grin* I tend to scrapbook whatever I feel like and not in any particular order.
Here are most of the albums but not sure if it is a complete list.
1) Soon to be husbands (yae!) baby book
2) Vancouver Trip
3) Whistler Ski Trip
4) Yearly ablums (2004,2003 and need to start 2004)
5) Christmas Album (I normally don't separate Christmas from my yearly albums but this past year it snowed on Christmas in TX. That has never happened before so lets just say I have tons of pictures)
6) In a couple of weeks I will start a wedding & honeymoon album.
Ok... lets just say I am behind... but that means I won't run out of pictures to scrapbook. : )
My parent's ministry memory album (gotta get busy on that if they're going to get it this summer!)
Bagheera's memory album
DD's first album (a 10 x 10 sprial)
DS's album
My BOM (reaaaaalllll behind on that one!)
Ones that I've started layouts for but haven't put them in an album....
DD's second album (these are in 12 x 12 format)
Wedding album (and we'll celebrate 8 years next month!)
Then I've got layouts that are done, but I have no earthly clue how I'm going to sort them. LOL I'm pondering whether to just have a "Christmas Through the Years" album or have Christmas layouts at the end of a yearly family album. Then there's a zoo trip to the Memphis zoo we did summer of
I'm working on Emilee's 5th year, her6th year, Catherine's 1st year, her 2nd year, my book about me, my honeymoon-I didn't scrap when I got married so I don't have alot of pictures but maybe I'll do a mini album someday. I've done Emilee's baby album, her 1st,2nd and 3rd years and an abc 123 book. I've also started an album for all the professional shots I have taken- at least most of the bigger ones. Barb:o)
I've been scrapping for around 6-7 years now. I guess I'm sort of off the wall - I have only 4 actual albums put together:
Family Christmas (29 yrs)
Molly (because she scraps with me it seems she has more done)
Girl Scout Memories (2 volumes - 25 years)
Heritage
The rest of my completed LO's are in 12x12 storage boxes because I scrap based on mood swings - my oldest is 29 and the youngest 8 and there are 5 of them plus 7 grandchildren. So each one has a box and I store the LO's there. I may do some baby pages, switch to a graduation or two, then to sports, holidays, etc...When I get enough to put together an album in some sort of order I will. I guess in a sense I am working on several album/boxes. Sandy
2- Ally's book.. She's almost a month old.
3 - Mom's book - I do pages and give them to her
4 - MIL's book. - I do pages for her and give them to her also.
I'm currently working on the recipe swap. My next project is not an album but 6 LOs to make a framed grouping for my living room.
I have my children's chronological albums that are never ending. My daughter has two albums 1994 - 2000. My son has one 1998 - 2000. I'll probably work on my son's second album after the frame LOs.
I've found I can really only work on one project at a time.
& 3. An album for each of my girls. they think I should work faster on this so they can see all their baby pics.
I should be working on my wedding album. i did the title page in Feb for the challenge and haven't been back to it. does it still count??
I have also been helping my sister do a track album to record some of her memories fromher track events. This is on hold right now. Probably get back to it after our spring clean-up and garden planting is done.
I have only been scrapping a little over a year, and I have done two 12x12s for myself, and they consist of mostly vacations, and favorite family pictures and special events, in no particular order...lol I am also working on 4 identical 8.5x11 heritage albums I am putting together for myself and my three sisters. They dont scrap,so that was their Christmas gift last year. I got an itch to work on family history and all that, so these books will always be worked on, and as I get more pages done, I send them the new pages. I also started each of my boys a12x12 book of their own, and I am trying to start with their baby pictures. They each have an 8.5x11 book that we did first, and they did some of their own pages too, to put in those. I scrap according to my mood too..lol so I never know which album I want to tackle until I start going through stuff! I still have some of those magnetic albums i need to get my older pics OUT of. Our wedding album is another project I would like to tackle. so many ideas, so many projects.SO little time !!!! Linda C
