Different technique

At the LSS Club Meeting tonight we tried a different technique to make embellishments. We heated regular white craft foam with a heat gun and then stamped onto it with a plain rubber stamp (no ink) pressing down hard to leave the stamp image. Then we rubbed on chalk or metallic rub-ons to give them color. After cutting it out it was a great little embellishment to add to a LO or a card. With the metallic rub-ons they sort of reminded me of the faux sealing wax things I did a few years ago with colored hot glue sticks and rubber stamps.

That sounds really cool Sandy, I'll have to try it something. Thanks for sharing!

Does the foam come off the stamps easily after? This sounds neat as I love "glitter."

It does not stick to the foam at all. Lifts of very easy. Sandy
