fiskerstv.com??

Anyone watch this and sign up for their drawings? I watch it ever so often but I HAVE watched in the past 3 weeks. I also met MELANIE BAUER on the last scrapbooking cruise. She is one of the fiskateers(?) there. She was very nice. Hoping she will be on the next cruise in a few months.

She demonstrated the FISKARS STAMP PRESS. I really liked it but have yet to be able to get it. It wasn't a fancy tool but it was one that would be very useful in what i like to do stamp, craft and make cards. She also had raindots in her presentation and those were really nice to use. She was selling all those she brought on the cruise and they sold at the first table make n take I believe.

I also have looked at their FISKARS RUBBER STAMPS but i don't believe I have seen them anywhere but on their site. the swirly curley and turkey lurkey are really cute ones. AS soon as I find them I will try to get them. Others I like are: twas the night and put on a party hat.

Also has anyone used the WIRE JIG plates from them. I have a wirejig but not this one. I never knew about the plates. I will definately have to get a few of those... plates 4, 6, 11 and 13 for me!

What about the FINGER CRAFT KNIFE... anyone?....how does it handle? Is it worth getting?

Just a few things I was pondering!....

Shhhhh,

i'm not supposed to tell but as an EK Success consumer board I've already tested the Stamp/cut thing from Fiskars. It's different but at a price point of $19.99 how many of us would buy it especially if the the extra kits run $9.99?

It's not on the market until the summer.

Hi April,

Sorry haven't tried anything you mentioned, but you reminded me about the Fingertip Craft Knife. I saw it demonstrated on a craft show in December and have been wanting to get one and try it. I'm going to have to peruse the

formatting link
website as there are a lot of interesting things there. Thanks for the heads up. Lynne

The Fiskars stamp press is different then the EK Success Product. The Stamp press doesn't have a punch/cutter. Its just a acrylic square that you can line your stamps on and push down to the paper.

I've tried both products, and quite frankly wouldn't use the stamp press. Although it looks like a good idea in theory, it actually was a bit wobbly on use (you can push one side down before the other). I think with just a little practice, a good set of clear acrylic stamp things would be a better value. And as a matter of fact (she says, just remembering), fiskars has a new line of acrylic stamps that have lines etched in them so you can use them to line things up. Got my set at Joanns and really like 'em.

I tried the f> Shhhhh,

I haven't tried the finger craft knife, but someone on another board has and she really liked it. She said that it was very easy to cut with and to control. I looked for one at JoAnn's today but they didn't have them. I'm going to try Michaels next week.

Kate I got an email questionnaire about this and wondered how well it worked. I think it is kind of pricey.
