I am part of a Stamping Up group that does cards every month. It is a good 30 minute drive, mostly interstate. I got there last night and guess who had not been called about it being canceled? I am so done with that group.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I too hate when I don't get called. I went to our Stamping Up group last night and we made the cutest cards, they were all purses.
That's not right, they should have called! Maybe you should start calling ahead to see for sure if its being held? I would hate to drive all that way for nothing. Sorry you had to go through that.

Thanks - I am thinking about finding another group. This leader allows certain members to be just rude there. I don't think a few of them know how to smile and be happy. She doesn't bring proper supplies. I can spend my money with someone else.
Wow that would be pretty frustrating! Sounds like it may have been the straw that broke the camel's back! At any rate, it's their loss! Hopefully they will learn to be courteous or double check the call list at least next time :(

I think finding a new demonstrator is an excellent choice. There is no reason to be involved in a group that is not enjoyable to you, which sounds like the case. You may even find to your surprise, a great, compatible group run by a remarkable woman in your own backyard. SU people demonstrators seem to be popping up everywhere in distrubing rates. :)

So sorry that happened.... Our group is the best.... We get emails and such from our Stampin up Demonstrator and she keeps us busy and happy making and learning new techniques... I am so glad I met her and got involved in her group... She also got me started on this group and I love it too... I would definitely find a new group....
