Happy Easter everyone! Hope everyone's day was wonderful. Didn't really do anything here because it rained all day.

Happy Easter to all too.

Stormed here all morning and into the afternoon. We went to church and had home made BBQ chicken for lunch... and then we hid the Eatser eggs (6 big ones) for Aurora. (She is almost 1). She found 5 of the 6 and got tired and cranky and so it was off to Nap time... She just left to go home and she found the last one just before she left... She was so cute. She even put them in her basket... and then dumped them all out again. I can hardly wait until next year when she will really understand better. I had a bowl full of filled eggs with money... but we knew she would not ever last long enough for more than 6... and since it had to be inside this year, we just wanted her to have the experience... Next year she will be able to help dye some eggs..

I had grand babies over. (2 & 1). On Friday they dyed eggs at my house

- even the 1 yr old did a little with that (she managed to crack a few too lol). Then they found them when they came over on Sunday. What a mess by the end of the day. I am so glad to have dogs that will eat anything and help clean up such messes. How does anyone raise children without a dog LOL>

Easter was a beautiful day here. Warm enough in the afternoon for the kids go go with just lightweight jackets. It was strange though with DH in the hospital. My youngest two (DD and DS) and I made the 2 hour trip to visit him in the am and passed DS#1 on the way as he had already been to the hospital and was on the way to our house. DD#1 had just left the hospital when we arrived and was also on the way to our house. When we got back the house was full... three oldest with their eight offspring waiting for grandma's egg hunt. DS and son-in-law fixed the rider and mowed and trimmed the yard so DH would quit worrying about it. It was a great day. I even got to scrap in the evening after everyone left. Sandy
