How are your Altoids doing?

I was just wondering how everyone is doing with their April Challenges? We haven;t seen a new tin with album in a while! Is anyone in need of a tin fix?

How is that rub-on thing going, Marilyn? Are you happy with your results? Have you used colors?

Love it! I printed some on transparency but was not happy with the results. Tried both sides but found it quite faded. I cut a 8 x 8 page protector and printed a clipart image in Photo & Best Photo on my Epson Stylus Photo RX500 and they both turned out lovely...PP's for me from now on!!! I will scan the images and put them up so you can see the result.

Right M-C, I have put them up in my webshots in the Other Stuff album. They are the first two photos.

Isn't it cool? Now you can custom make your own Rub-Ons....it is so useful!!! How often do you find that you don't have what you are looking for and need to go in search of just the right thing. I think it will also be really great for card-making!

You hardly need to do any rubbing with the page protector ones. I allowed them to air dry about fifteen minutes and they looked dry, although I didn't touch them. On the PP it looked really faded and I thought it hadn't worked for me again. When I turned them over to apply to the cardstock the image density increased immediately the PP contacted the card and my finger would probably applied enough pressure but I used the lollipop (popsicle) stick to burnish anyway.

Sure did....just left a very faint residue on the PP that I wiped off with a damp cloth. I am currently trying out a photo of DGD that I have hurriedly taken out of the background. I will put up the results if it turns out OK. Oooooh...this is exciting!!!!!

Well I don't really like altoids, but my brother does, so I bought him some made him eat them and now I am going to get started. I cant think of how I want to decorate the outside...But You will see it soon, will probly finish it tonight!! Also have another tin, its smaller than the altoids, its altoids gum. I thought I would try something with that. I like the gum just not the mints...! go figure!
