I''m back

I find it very therapeutic to scapbook, even in my shape. If anyone is interested and can come I'll be at the Luau Crop at ScrapbookVillage in Glasgow, KY on the 20th of this month.

Hey! It's great to see you back. Hope everything is going well. Glasgow is just 3 hours from me. Too bad I have another commitment that day. I have not been to a crop since the CKC in Louisville.

my 'fun' consisted of a carwreck that was't my fault, and it left me a quadraplegic. Scrapbooking is very therapeutic for me. There's not a whole lot I can enjoy these days. I wish I at least had my scanner up to show everyone what I can do. I enlist the help of my Mom on tasks too big for me. But I've discovered a way to hold a small cutter up 'tween the table and my tummy and lo and behole I could trim my oun photos. Yaaaay me! I celebrate the smallest of feats. 'Cause to me they're large. I was originally given 2% chance or less of living and thank God, I beat the odds.

Sorry to hear about the wreck. It must take great courage. My father had a major stroke Dec. 2008. He lost all feeling in his right side and could not even swallow. But through a good attitude, he has been able to do so much. I know early on he wanted to quit, but Mom would not let him. He gets so frustrated because he can't do the things he used to.

He is walking now and even studying to get his driver's license back in order. Keep going and celebrating the little things. Those little things turn into bigger things. My big Christmas present last year was to look up and see my parents dancing and then to get to dance with my daddy one more time. It was just a cowboy two step, but it was the world to me.

I would like to see your work sometime. I bet it is better than mine. :)
