OFFICIAL CALL DETAILS FOR PARTICIPANTS! I'm in a stew... what's for dinner! Recipe Swap Soups, stews, chilis and comfort food... recipes that make you feel all warm in the winter.
I ask that participants to be members of RCS for at least 3 months. A typical swap has any where from 8-12 participants. This means you could end up making 12 recipe scrapbook pages. Make sure you have time for this. I do it assembly line style and it doesn't matter if it's 8 or 12 it takes about the same amount of time.
Deadline for sign ups Friday, January 25, 2007 Recipes to be completed and mailed to me (in my hands) by Friday, February
23, 2007. If every thing arrives on time I'll get recipes sorted and mailed out by Monday, February 26, 2007.Please read through all of the details and if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me privately at snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net. Also email me with your name and address, so I can prepare labels.
What you will do: Create identical 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook pages. Embellish the page just as you would a scrapbook page, but in place of the pictures include your recipe. You will need to use all acid/lignin free products. Feel free to be as simple or as grand as you wish, but I must insist that there be at least one embellishment. Examples would be hand glittered, a few stickers, tags, shaker box, eyelets, hand stamping, paper piecing. Remember the other participates in this swap will be scrapping their hearts out for you and you should do the same for them.
What you will get back: WONDERFUL recipe pages from across America possibly from around the globe!
Deadline: Items are due in my hand on February 23rd. So, please don't wait till the last minute to mail. If I don't have it by the deadline, I will feel sorry for you, I might be able to cut some slack, but bottom line we all want to get our recipes back and oogle them. If I receive all the pages on time I can swap them and have them back to you the 1st week in March and we can start enjoying some delicious warm food.
For mail back I ask that you send a $4.05 Priority Mail stamp or $4.05 in cash and I'll buy the stamps when I get the envelops. I will use the cardboard Priority Mail envelopes to protect the recipes. For those of you NOT in the United States I will need the same amount of postage it takes you to mail your swap to me, so I can mail your delicious recipes back to you.
Any questions? any answers? Just e-mail me!!! :D snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net
