Its time for the December Scrapbook Challenge!

Ladies, I am the host of this month's challenge. It's my first time hosting a challenge, so bear with me, and if you have any suggestions, fire away ! :-)

For this month, lets get into the Christmas Spirit! I would like to challenge you to create a LO listing your favorite things you like about Christmas, or you can do a "What Christmas means to me" theme. You can make it a "Top Ten" list, or use pictures to illustrate. Pics of loved ones sharing Christmas morning, kids on Santas lap, opening presents, going to church, etc.. It would be a great addition to your BOM (Book Of Me if you dont already have one) or a good time to create one for yourself.

Use any color theme, and use up some of those Christmas stickers we all have in our stashes! (Thinking of you Kate..LOL) I look forward to seeing your LO's! I guess I had better get myself in the spirit so I can get started making a LO for my own challenge, huh? Linda

I hate to appear stupid but some of the abbreviations I can't figure out, such as LO's. Far as I know it's Laugh outloud!! Duh!! Sorry to be so stupid. Can someone post what some of them are? I would appreciate it. Thank you. Dumb Dawn

Hey, I had trouble with abbreviations at first too.

LO = Layout, as in a scrap page LOL = laugh out loud

Just ask if you see any others you don't know. =D

LO stands for layout. I cut and pasted below some info from the group's website. You can go there and read about the group, past swaps, members, challenges, etc. but beware, there is a virus on the site. It popped up when I tried to link back to the group homepage. It might not be a good idea to visit there until it is resolved.

Hope this helps.

Ok you have NO idea how happy I am that you posted all those abbreviations! I have been wondering what "DH" stands for for probably a year! I was just too embarassed to ask! I thought maybe it was Dumb Husband, but Darling Husband is way better! LOL

Thanks!

That was great. Thanks. I'm just printing them out so I'll avoid any "maybe" viruses.

Dec 17th: We are halfway through the month. Has anyone had time to attempt this months challenge? I, for one, have not done it yet! Christmas time is so hectic, and I understand we all have those last minute things like shopping, baking and card sending to get done. Maybe after the 25th we can find some time do some scrapping. Maybe use some new toys we got as gifts too! Happy Holidays!! Linda
