The LSS I frequent is currently holding a yard sale where scrappers get to bring in items they no longer want, priced with their initials and the LSS sells them and gives the seller store credit on new merchandise. I spent quite a bit on paper, albums and tools there on Saturday. I think one of my best buys was one of the Lisa Bearnson's All About Me 8x8 boxed album kits. The person who sold it had started on the first five pages and decided not to finish the album. She had just worked on the basics, no journaling or photos. Everything was included in the bag. I finished the 20 page album last night - no photos or journaling yet, but can't wait to get started on that part. I bought it for $5. On QVC it sold for $29 plus shipping. Someone else was selling baged kits which she had coordinated 8 pages of paper, ribbon, fiber, stickers, and other embellishments in a ziploc baggie for $3 each. I bought several, now all I have to do is add photos and I'm ready to crop. I bought my first quickutz alphabet set too, for $50. It is the Ginger set. I could not believe the amount of quickutz sets for sale there. They said several people bought the cricut and were selling off their quickutz for that reason. Most of the singles were $3 and the alphabet sets were $50 to $75. I wasn't sure if that was a good price as I didn't own anythng but a handle and two dies and had never priced them on the Internet. I'm happy with my buys. Sandy
