I had a great day yesterday full up surprises. First off a new friend who's only been to my house 2 popped by with flowers. She called while in my driveway and I told her I was still in my PJ's and she didn't care and I really didn't either. Then my parents, and brother came by and we all went out for dinner. Usually we do this on the weekend, so again a nice surprise. My brother gave me the movie "Sleeping Beauty." He said he remember me playing the sleeping beauty music on the organ when we were kids. It was my favorite song then. Made me laugh and the kids and I enjoyed watching it. My parents got me a dremel. I've wanted one for years! I'm going to start doing some crafting on gourds my dad grew this year. I have some dried ones already to start on as we wait for the others to dry.
My DH got me the BlueRay version of my favorite Halloween movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and some flowers. He came home saw the small flower arrangement I already had and said jokingly, "Who am I competing with?" My gift from the kids was for them to play a song together. They are learning the Guitar and Bass Guitar. They played part of Kryptonite by
3 Doors Down. It was quite good for someone who only been playing for 6 months.Still working on my CCC's and my October LO.
