Weekend was great. I got my first ever massage and it was wonderful. My friend treated me to one as part of the package. She won the weekend for two and took me with her. Food was fantastic. They served a chicken salad in a jar for lunch one day and it was great. I forgot to get the recipe, but she is going to send it to me. Rooms were clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. We slept in the tropical lagoon room with a big walk-in shower next door. The entire place was decorated in vivid colors of orange, pink, green and blue. Really made you feel warm and tropical........ I was the only one not brave enough to get in the hot tub. It was outside on the patio in 22 degree weather with a wind chill in the teens. I crawled in bed with a book while they were all out there. The scrapbook store they directed us to for extra supplies was small with limited supplies, but all I needed was some more adhesive. They don't own a store and don't sell supplies there at the retreat house. I got a total of 14 2 page LO's finished and made 3 mini albums. One of the mini albums was a tlc acrylic album kit I've had for a couple of years. I loved putting it together.....I had been afraid to touch it all this time as I wasn't sure about trying acrylic. Will try to post some of the LO's this week. There never seems to be enough time in a day to get anything done. I'm going to be gone all weekend with the Boy Scouts doing a cabin camping thing. One other mom is going besides me and we get one of the back bedrooms in the cabin. I can't decide if I want to read or scrap a little. I know taking supplies is very limited so I might just read.
