1. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? all kinds of ornaments. my dad gives me a new ornament every year, and hubby a new tractor ornament. I have several hand crocheted snowflakes, handpainted real eggs my mom made back in early 60's, garland, and lots and lots of lights. Lots of COW ornaments too.

2 years ago we had a white Christmas tree with only cow lights and ornaments on it. Next to a fiber optic one for son.

Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Delivering plates of goodies to our friends on Christmas Eve, then going home to hear Dad read the Christmas story from the Bible and him play the autoharp and sing "Sweet Little Jesus Boy". Now DH reads it to our kids and I sing the song...without the autoharp since I don't have one. And then the kids help me sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

2. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Nope. It's my sister's b-day. If any presents got opened, it was only her b-day presents. Even now, I make my kids wait until Christmas Day.

1. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Lots of various ornaments, lights, and maybe some garland or icicles. Some from DH & I's childhoods. All the WorldCrafts ornaments my mom has bought us over the last several years. And Every year we go shopping for a new ornament for each one of us and those get added to the tree.

1. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Our big tree is done in non breakabke ornaments, because of the kitties. It is all done in cream, gold with some burgundy accents. We also have a small tree which is decoated in colored lights, and silver ornaments that we've received as gifts from my mother in law.

1. Snow! Love it or Dread it!! Now that I live in Florida it isn't much of an issue, but I do miss snow for the holidays. If the darn thing could just drop on anything green, like grass and trees, it would be perfect, wouldn't it!

2. Can you ice skate? I used to skate everyday during the Quebec winters, (october to March or April) but it's been a while now. Is it like riding a bike?

1. Do you remember your favorite gift? My DS bought me a blue stuffed dog that held a bone, when he was about 5. I cried.

2. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? DS and I have spent all our Christmases with DH's family since 1998. I love going to the midnight service and signing all the Christmas carols. Celebrating the real reason for the holiday is very moving.
3. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? In Quebec we had a holiday log tradition, it's one of the things I miss.

My brother and I would come down the stairs Christmas morning and it would look like Santa's workshop almost. Everything all lit and snowy and presents wrapped all over.

1. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? For years I would wrap a new pair of comfy pajamas and a book for the kids to open Christmas Eve. They'd put on their jammies and we'd read their book and off to bed they'd go. I was guaranteed great pictures in the morning with them wearing their new jammies.

2. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? My tree has had red, white and blue lights on it since 2001. Each year I think I'll do something different, but I just love the look so much. Top

1. Snow! Love it or Dread it!! I grew up in snow country and feel oddly at home in it. I don't live in snow, but it's about an hour drive away. We take the kids up. They complain about the cold and trudging around and I feel like I'm at home.

2. Can you ice skate? Like I said I grew up in snow country. One year my dad tired of hearing my brother and I complain about the bullies at the community skating rink started making us our own in the big field behind our house. We could invite who we wanted each year. So, much fun.

3 speed English Racer bike. Snow didn't melt until end of April beginning of May, but that didn't stop me from riding it in a tight circle in the basement until then.

(with extra large capacity) (I'd like to give our old set to Nick and Melissa so they have something when the get to Ft. Bragg the end of the month) ANNND someone to paint our kitchen for us, it needs painted and I just haven't been up to it.
