OT: Elizabeth (DS) Health UPDATE

Many many prayers going up not only for full healing of the cancer, but that their dream of having another child/ren is also fulfilled sometime in the near future!!

Hi All, As you all know, during the summer, my sister fought and won the first round of skin cancer. She had seven removed, six along the hair line and the seventh on the top of her head.

since the doctor said he "thought" he got it all and gave her a clean bill of health.

Roy, having a gut feeling, told Elizabeth if she truly wants to try for another child she has to go for a full body scan to double check.

Much to both their chagrin the doctor found two more cancereous growths. One in the ear (just beneath the part that looks like a tongue) and the other on her arm.

As you can imagine she is furious and very very depressed. Any and all prayers sent to her would be appreciated.

she told me she doesn't want to be "carved up again." I told her I would rather her carved up and alive than beautiful but in her coffin. I never realized how much her looks mattered to her.

Also Sarah is concerned that she will "catch" mommy's sickness. I told her that when we tell her to wear skin block don't argue and then she won't get sick. She agreed.
