OT kodak esp 3 printer

Hi I have been lurking for a long time bt haven't posted in awhile. I would like to buy a printer so I can print my photos at home. I was wondering if anyone had a kodak esp 3 and if you would share any comments with me thanks Lin

I own one of the Kodak ESP printers and was happy enough with it to buy one for my elderly mother-in-law when her non-Kodak All-in-One stopped working due to the failure of a small plastic part that could not be replaced.

I like the Kodak AiO for its excellent image quality and color as well as the tests predicting that images from the printer will last for generations. I also like the very low ink costs without the need to go to off-brand cartridges.

My mother-in-law like having only two ink catridges to keep on hand and replace. One of her complaints about her previous printer was that she needed to keep six replacements as back-up because her local office store was often out of the very one she needed at any given time (plus the time trying to find it on the rack).

She also appreciated "the nice young man" (her words) at tech support who walked her through something she wanted to do that she couldn't figure out (she is 85 and working on a family history). She was able to get good color balance on a scanned picture that she had been unable to do (or at least figure out how to do) on her earlier printer.

Personally, I think there are a lot of very good printers out there, so a choice can be made largely on cost (including total cost of ownership) and features. I can't say that the Kodak ESP printers are right for every user or every use, but I've been happy with mine.

Thanks for your opinion. I like the prices off the cartidges too. I don't know much about printers but like this one. Now need to save for it. Lin
