OT: Need your help naming kitten..please?

Yes, we're moved! Not unpacked, but moved. Anyways, I've spent all day trying to name my new kitten, and haven't gotten very far. I also haven't gotten far in unpacking or Barn pages, either. EEK! I need your help naming this guy. His pictures are posted on my Yahoo page, in the Kitten album. (kind of obvious, huh? LOL) He's a polydactyl, 6 toes on his front paws. He's 'normal' on the back paws. He's playful, but sweet, long haired orange marmalade. Has a quiet meow. Very tolerant of anything! LOL Loves to eat. In fact, he's the fattest of his litter. :-) Anyways, give me some ideas! So far, I've only come up with

O'Malley Toulouse (both from Disney's "Aristocats") Thunderpaws (his front paws look huge) Oliver (DD's latest suggestion..not bad, either)

Help me out!

Ok...gotta go do someting constructive today!

wow, he is cute. I also have a polydactyl. extra toes on all 4 paws. His name is "Joonyer", he was found when he was about 6 months old when I went on a visit to our local prison. He was walkig outside and we thought he looked just like our older cat so we brought him home. He has a milk mustache and looks cute. This June he will be 10 yrs old.

Boomer....? Bloomer...? Tiddlywink...? Orbit...? Zathura..?

We named our new gray and white domestic cat "kitty", just waiting to watch and see what he did to give a real name. He would steal our glasses, jewelry, and keys from the counter so we soon named him "Bling-Bling" and got him a rhinstone studded coller! Might want to wait a few weeks and watch for anything unique that he does. I also sometimes name them after who, or where I got them from. A friend named Vanessa Grace gave me 3 dogs and there names were "Nessy", "Nester", and we now have "Gracie".

What a sweety! He looks positively angelic in those photos! Does he live up to it? Or do his horns show through the fur when you see him IRL :P

Be warned - Tessica was the sweetest, snuggliest, most angelic kitten when we rescued her and for the first few weeks... but when she felt more at home she turned into a full-fledged hoolikitten who'd rather chew on you than cuddle :)

If I had to call your baby I think I'd name him Foxy, at least until he grew out of it - his russety colour and darker tail (and big pointy ears) remind me of a fox :)

Oh he looks just like my Tigger did as a kitten! My Tiggy is also a polydactyl, 7 toes on his front paws and 5 on his back for a total of

24! Hmmm.......... regarding a name .. Marmalade - sweet with a bite to it lol. You could call him Tigger, Tiggy, Tiglet. Actually, I'm waiting to get a picture of my daughter with her head in an ice cream container, so that I can make a layout of Piglet and Tiglet lol. I have pictures of Tiggy with his head all the way in a yogurt container lol. HTH

Guess I'm the only one that can't get to the kitty pic(s). :::pout:::

The link thru google seems to be missing some characters in the middle. When I get ot the yahoo site, I get a message saying "Sorry, snipped-for-privacy@sbcglobal.net has not enabled any public albums in their account."

My Tigger seems to like his name. I'd hope so, since he'll be 20 next month & has had it 20 years this August. My mom named him. She said I got to name the first cat we had (I was 7 at the time) so she got to name Tigger when I showed up on their doorstep with him (was on my way to their house to visit for the weekend when Tigger insisted on me adopting him & taking him with me).

Good luck naming your furry baby, Deb!

HI.

How about "midnight" he reminds me of the kitty in Catwoman who drove Halle Berry nuts.

Since he has such big blue eyes how about "sinatra" as in "ole blue eyes?"

He's adorable nonetheless.

How about Askem? When I was little we had a cat and my Dad named him Askem... when people would ask what his name was and he would reply "Askem". It was fun to see the looks on their faces.

How about Lionheart? I gather from you that he has the heart of a lion under that small exterior! I'm so glad you are enjoying your birthday present!

ooooh, he is sooo cute!!!!

Wow, what a pretty boy!!!

Of the names listed, I like Digit, Thunderpaws and askem.

Also, I've always wanted to name a cat Koshka or Neko. (Russian or Japanese for cat, respectively)

I just showed my freind a picture and she said Tobias.

So, more choices...fun!!

Let us know what you choose! :)

Actually, I do like Digits but what about RCS, LOL. That would be unique and work with how he came about and how he got his name, LOL!
