OT: Newsgroup postings

Hi,

Is it common for newsgroup postings not to appear, appear days after = posting, or to duplicate? I ask because I have just downloaded another = duplicate of a post I made several days ago. The original was never = duplicated by me as it showed up soon after posting...but to replicate = itself days after the fact is real freaky.....LOL=20

Love that expression... "Peeps will think you lost the plot! "

Servers are weird Marilyn. Sometimes there are posts you don't get at = all and and then if you're lucky someone replies with the original = attached. That's one reason that from time to time I go to google to = make sure that I haven't missed anything, especially now that I have so = many filters on. It allows me to get a pulse for what is actually going = on that I might be missing and that might be getting people all upset.

I also have a second free server (dp-news.maxwell.syr.edu) set up in = outlook. I can't post from it, but I can read and sometimes that allows = me to see posts that I might otherwise miss. =20

In a word.... yes. I don't have any clue why it happens, but it does. Very strange. Sometimes I don't see a post until someone answers it and I see it quoted in the answer email.
