OT: You know your day has started off all wrong when:

I woke up extra early so I could work on a few classes for JADS but had several issues before I could even get out of bed. I'm laughing now but I was cursing earlier.

I have worn glasses since the 3rd grade and I can't see a d*** thing without them. I can sorta see up close but I mean the book has to be practically up my nose. Well I woke up and couldn't find my eye glasses. I could have sworn I put them on the side table next to our bed. Nope. Making like Helen Keller Icouldn't find them.

Well for special occassions I have contacts. So I figured this would have to be a special occassion. Since I was still a little groggy I put the contacts in. D*** it I couldn't see still except out of one eye. I gave up and just decided I would have to be blind.

I put the bed away (it is a fold out one) and promptly stepped on my missing glasses which of course now had both lenses bopped out. I put them back into the frame and decided to put the contacts back into their container. Only to discover the reason I couldn't see is because I had put them in the wrong eyes.

Now that I can see and am happy it is sunny and 60 degrees I am off to finish what should have begun around 10 a.m.

We can now laugh at me. I am.

That's too funny. I'm sure you wasn't laughing this morning though. My husband is almost as bad and he's only 33. He would love to get that laser eye surgery done. I would like him also to. He has contacts but never wears them. He says dust always gets in his eyes. He's a technician. I love to see his eyes without his glasses.

ROTF with you Kate!!

That sounds like me, Blind in one eye, can't see out the other!!! What I do now after doing the same thing or one of the cats knock them off the back of the end table. when i go to bed I leve them in the bathroom sink. That sonds like a weird place (ALRIGHT I know exactlty what a BUNCH of ya'll thought!!) but where is the first place you go when you get up for whatever reason?!

(don't ya just hate when you can not see the keys or paper!)

I hope today went much better for you Kate. Glad you were able to fix your glasses and figure out what went wrong with the contact lenses.
