Pictures of Hot Card/Layout/Stamped Candles

I have been busy lately. Here are some projects I've been working on take a peek in my webshots account.

I am attempting to make my sister a scrapbook album from when we went to Yankee Candle and Magic Wings in Massachuets last year. The good thing is I am creating her album and at the same time duplicating the page for my album. Its a win win! Here are those pages

I bought 2 candles at walmart to stamp on for christmas gifts. I am now addicted, I have to go to walmart and get more candles tomorow night. I love this technique and it so simple to do. You stamp your image onto tissue paper (white tissue paper) then color in if you like (but becareful what you use because it will bleed through and tear the tissue paper) cut the image as close as possible. Place the image onto the candle. Cover the top and bottom of candle in wax paper cover the image with wax paper hold tightly and then with a heat gun wave over the image until it is melted. If this doesn't make sense I have a link to share I just have to find it. Here are the 2 candles I made

And finally I got a chance to make the hot card! I love this technique also! I am now addicted to tissue paper! LOL! I never imagine all the great things you can do with tissue paper. LOL!

I'd seen this done on small candles, but these are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the idea. Sandy

Thank you for the wonderful comments. For the cards I either colored them with watercolor pencils or regular colored pencils and for the rose candle I colored it with stampin up markers.

I'm so glad you got to try the Hot Card technique. All the things you've made are very nice.

Did you post the link for the wax paper/heat gun idea?
