Re: question about printing from computer

Most font files are zip files that you download to your computer. Once they are downloaded you can use them in applications on your computer. I use MS Word to print most of my journaling or titles.

Well. I do a lot of my journaling on the computer. I usually choose a paper that coordinates with my page and find a font that fits my theme. I type up what I want to say and then print it out on a white piece. I cut the white piece to size to see how it will look. Sometimes I adjust the font size or change the font all together. Once I like the way it looks, I print it on the coordinating paper. I really like using vellum for journaling and then adhering it to matting with eyelets. I also do that for my titles. You can print a larger title on coordinated paper or vellum by flipping the direction of your page. If you use MS word, all you do is go to file, page setup, and then hit landscape. This flips your text so you get a wider writing space on 8 1/2 x 11 paper. Remember you can use different colored ink, which is really fun when printing on vellum. Also, you can make your lettering big for a title and embellish it with chalk, stickers, pens, glitter, or anything you can think of.

Hope this helps,

Jen
