The scrapbook stores in Southern Indiana and one in Henderson, Ky are participating in a scrapbook store hop from July 10 to July 26. Every store is having a make-n-take and a door prize and giving 20% discount to every shopper who signs up at one of the stores for a $5 passport. If you get to all of the stores and have your passport stamped you get into the drawing for a weekend retreat for two. I went to three of the stores today while I was in Evansville getting DS's broken thumb checked. One of the stores actually did a 12x12 layout as a make-n-take; another store did theirs making a mini album using a new kind of binding system and the third store did a beautiful card using "flower Soft". I had never seen this before. I'll try to post what I made later on tonight. Have to fix supper first.

DS gets his cast off in two weeks. Dr said it's healing great and he can't see putting a waterproof cast on for two weeks. He has a merit badge canoe class the day before the cast comes off. The Dr said he doesn't care what condition it comes in ...... so I guess it just might get wet.
