Shopping at DollarTree

I was there today looking for St. Patrick Day plates. No luck on those, but they had just put out a display of Disney, Precious Moments, and Spiderman stickers. I checked out their Scrapbook display and it had many other really nice things. $16 later I was out of there. Went to another DollarTree closer to my house and again no St. Patrick Day plates, but their Scrapbook section had been savagely picked over. Lesson here... to check a couple different ones if they are available.

The Dollar Tree "midwest distribution center" (aka HUUUUUUUUGE warehouse) is about 3 miles from here...and our store even advertises that it gets stuff first because it's the closest store. :-) My Dollar Tree 99% of the time (except if you go late in the weekend) has their scrapping stuff and stickers well stocked.

I really like the store and the chain in general...for a *dollar store* they do have some pretty good stuff!

Just my 2c worth... :-) Theresa in IL

Hi.

No Dollar Tree's near me (except NJ) but I remember that I went to one with my mom in Painted Post, NY and was extremely happy with the selection. I also remember getting a couple of top loading 12x12 albums.

The Dollar Tree around here (Catskill - Hudson area) has several scrapbooking items. They also some times have punches and stamps. You have to get there early in the week. I've never tried it but a friend recently told me that Dollar General has a small supply of scrapbook items. I'll have to check it out.

I was a store manager for Dollar Tree for 8 years. My daughter is an assistant manager for them. My store did not have scrapbooking stuff but her's has a very nice selection. She always lets me know when new stuff comes in and pulls one of each that she thinks I will like for me. I work for Big Lots now, we also have some nice scrapbook stuff some times. We are supposed to be getting in a buyout of Jolee's stuff soon.

My BigLots is pretty picked over when I get there. I only dream about what might have been there. :) One day I'll hit them just right.

Hey Linda. Do you live in Danville. I grew up in Georgetown. But now I live in Lafayette, IN. We come home all the time to visit family. Danville's only an hour from me.

Janet, Someone was telling me about a scrapbook warehouse located somewhere between Mt. Vernon and St. Louis. Do you know where it is or if it even exists?
