My DIL braved the crowd at Michaels for their 6-9 Thanksgiving Day sale this evening. They got back to town after having dinner at our house and she decided to stop there 30 minutes early rather than going on home to drop off my DS#1 and grandsons before going to the sale. She was lucky as there was a line already forming when they arrived . She was 13th in line for 30 minutes before the doors opened and DS#1 said the line was over a block long when they finally opened. She was able to get Joys of the Season for me and Dreams Come True, Cars, Paper Doll Dress-up, Tinker Bell and Friends, Locker Talk and Pooh & Friends for herself (which I can borrow any time I want). They were selling for $29.99 each and she got to use the 20% off coupon also. She was only going to pick up three, but DS#1 gave her $200 in the parking lot for her Christmas present and said to have fun. Now, I tell you, did I not raise him right???
