To All RSC - SS and RAKs

Many of the members who were here last year may remember all of the surprise packages that were mailed out as RAKs (Random Acts of Kindness) all over the country by various members of the group. These surprise packages were sent out to members of the group who did not participate in the regular SS as well as to those who did.

If this happens again this year, and you recieve a package in the mail that has no return address, but says "Do Not Open Until Christmas" (it may not even say anything), please try to contain yourself and just place it under the tree. ***Kate, that means you, too!!!

In keeping with the spirit of the season, if you do open the package, or if you figure out who sent it to you, PLEASE, do not post that information to the group and spoil the surprise for other members. This will help keep everyone in suspense and make for lots of surprises at Christmas.

But, please do let us know when you do get a package in the mail for under your tree. I hope to keep track of the SS and SSHS packages as they arrive to their destinations.

Thank you, Santa's Super Sneaky Elf, Sandy, and her Super, Super Sneaky Elves from the Group

DS and DD are driving me crazy wanting to put up the tree. Because of the daycare we wait until the week before Christmas to put it up. Even putting the playyard around the tree does not completely stop the 2-3 year olds from reaching through and over the top to get to it. I don't feel like they need the constant reprimand or redirection any more than I have the time to keep doing it. It's better not to tempt them any more than necessary. You'd better put up a tree or Santa won't bring you any gifts. The Elf knows...... Sandy
