I was driving down the highway and one came out of the ditch in hit the drivers window of the truck....guts and feathers everywhere. When I told DH what happened he said "What do you mean? You hit a turkey." I didn't hit a turkey, it hit me. I'm just glad the window was shut! Sandy
I started to keep a journal again for the first time in years. In doing the March challenge, I started to journal under the guise of adding it to the original digital page and when I was done typing it was 21 pages long and so cathartic.
A doctor told me that the next step is to physically sit at the computer table and scrap for 15 minutes only. Don't laugh. It is part of a block that has occurred and I cannot get me to sit at the table without getting totally overwhelmed. I made one card which was reproduced from a design I made in 2006. It is an invitation.
Larry and I went to Ikea and were looking for a craft table of sorts for me and I found one that definately fits the bill. The original one I wanted has a glass table but I fear one clang of the eyelet setter (banging one or silent setter) it will shatter or cut with the exacto knife off the protective pad will damage it.
I would love to have something like that done, but I'm just just being 40-50 pounds over weight, my doctor or husband wouldn't ok it. Especially with the stomache problems I've had. Best of luck. Can't wait to see before and after pictures.
