What was your best Scrapbook find for 2004?

Hi Everyone :)

I hope everybody had a great X'mas and have recovered from the feasting! :) We always seem to overdo things a bit down here over this time!

As most of you might remember, I only discovered scrapbooking the last quarter of this year and a whole new wonderful world opened up for me! I feel so blessed and greatful. A few not so pleasant things also happened this year, but I always try to be positive and look at the bright side of life. Soooo...to answer the question: What was my best Scrapbook find for

2004, I would have to say the RCS Newsgroup! I've learned such a lot from everyone here and found so much kindness and warmth, truly a "soft place to fall" when things go a bit hectic. :)

I want to thank everyone very much and look forward to sharing our passion (yes, I think to most of us it is way more than a hobby) and friendship in

2005 :)))

Okay and then on a lighter note.... I just LOVE micro glue dots! As far as physical scrap goodies go, that will have to be my No 1 find! I love to put

3d stuff on my LO's and it works like a dream! I know to most that might sound very basic, but don't you just love it when you find something that really WORKS?

Hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing and peaceful Boxing Day :)

Well since I've been here forever.. LOL RCS doesn't count... hrm...

I'd say my scutto... I don't go to crops a ton and I had a HUGE tote that took up too much space... and this thing folds flat... LOVE IT!

and I have QK now and LOVE it.. I didn't "find" that in 2004, but I got one in 2004 so that counts right? LOLOLOL

Oh, Judy, What a lovely thing to say!! This is a wonderful group of scrappers and all are so kind and thoughtful. By the way, I think we are lucky you found us,too. My most delightful find of 2004 was my sizzlets alphs. I do agree about the glue dots ,too. Simple but so neat!

Here here! I would agree that RCS has been my best find this year as well.

I haven't had a lot of time to actually do much this year, (A resolution I intend to make is to find more time!!!) so, I haven't had the chance to try many new things....so.....I am still working on that. Jessica

My best find wasn't even intended to be a scrapbook find. When I moved, we really needed a place to put "stuff" because we didn't bring any furniture (like bookcases) with us and it turns out the cabin we moved into didn't really have any stuff holding furniture either.

We went to Target and got 2 sets of make your own wire furniture kits. It comes with 20 12"x12" squares of wire shelves (for lack of a better term) and a bunch of connectors for the corners. If you put them together in just a solid bookshelf type format, you end up with 6 open cubes to store stuff in, and you can get creative if you want to for a different configuration. What makes these rock for scrapbooking - because each of the connectors holds the things about half an inch apart, the actual space inside the cubes is about 13x13. Perfect for storing papers, notebooks, finished books, etc etc.

I think it's called a "snap pack". It's made by CM (no, I don't sell it). I bought one of their 7x7 Disney albums this year and the thingy that went with it. It has a booklet that walks you through the whole album and you are done in a day. GREAT idea for a smaller album like this (only been to Disney once and I went without my family! LOL). I will definitely buy more of these.

I would say my best scrapbook find for 2004 was my PICPAC. Closed it is about the size of my Day Minder but it opens accordian style and has 6 pockets for

4X6 pictures. Each pocket holds a lot of pictures so I can put pictures for a series of layouts together. It really helps me organize. When folded it has a velcro belt that keeps it closed. Peggy in NJ

I'm with you, one of my best finds was the Scutto, the other the new zipper binders for the QuicKutz.

I think my best find was Perfect Layers - for cutting photo mats. It is great I use it on at least 95% of my layouts.
