I think the cartridges for the design runner were on sale but I am not certain about the design runner itself. (I was at Michael's last night... bought a ton of their new paper! Like I needed paper) Here is the link to the website:

You should be able to enter your zip code and see if it is on sale in your area. There was some confusion on what the 50% off coupon could be used for on a thread at Two Peas. I know the store close to me was not accepting the coupon for the Circut.

If you look at the coupons, the cricut is specifically prohibited from it. Micheals added it to the list of things you can't use the coupon on. One of the clerks pointed it out to me at the store as I was oogling over the cricut. Total bummer!!

You might want to check out ebay as well. I was lucky enough to get a brand new one with an extra cardtridge and an extra black ink for $65 shipped. I bought all my cartridges from ebay as well, the most I paid for one was $15 with shipping.
