Makes for a very pretty ruffle.
Put it safely away for the day you do a rolled hem on DGD's wedding veil. ;-)

Pat,
I believe my source was the first link that came up in a Google search. The owner emailed me the same day that the pattern would be in the next day's mail, and S/H was only $1.50.
Hi Judy,
Thanks! In case you miss my recent post to Pat, I ordered the pattern here and got great service:
Doreen, yours is *much* prettier than the example shown on the site, you should offer to let them use a picture of yours....for a commission, of course. ;-)
I have sent the link of yours to my DGD to see if she would like me to get the pattern, to make one for her.

I sent the photo of your purse, Doreen to my DGD who celebrates her 19th birthday in June to get her opinion. within 5 minutes, she called to say that is exactly what she wants me to make her. So I will order the pattern today. Her favorite colors are pink, purple(lavender), lime green and black. It should be a fun thing to make. Emily
Emily, I'm complimented that your DGD liked the photo!

Beverly,
Well, I do like the pastel, 'shabby chic' look of the designer's example, but didn't feel it was exactly right for our DGD.
And yeah, you really do need another project! ;)

Right! I have the red velveteen vest almost done, and just finished the gray slacks for me.
And tonight I did some "customizing" of a purchased black micro-fiber purse: I sewed a dog-clip(?) on a small black micro-fiber zipper pouch and added a padded separator, now I can clip it to my purse and have it hanging on the outside for sunglasses & glasses or easily take if off at night. I will also put a strip of black elastic inside, secured every
1/2" or so, for corralling pens, small flashlight, lipstick, etc.I still want to get at least to new shirts made to pull the whole travel wardrobe together. And I have to make the green Nationals vest for DGD. Lots of time yet... ;-}
