Adjustable dress form

I'm looking for a child size one available here in the UK. Ideas anyone?

Hi Kate I did the duck tape up job with Chip to make one as they were a terrible price thu our local John Lewis group. Worth a giggle

I need it adjustable for different customers. I have 3 adult female ones (different size ranges), and am looking for a kiddy one and a male one to complete the set... Eventually! Storing them is a pain!

I thought Jaycotts did one. I'm sure I saw it in the catalogue!

They do an adult female one in two sizes, but no child one is listed. I might ring them and see what they'd quote for getting me one. I thought Morplan did one too, but i can't find it on their web site.

I don't suppose you could recommend an adult female adjustable dress = form could you? I'm looking for one that would be suitable for customers = who are size 16 to size 26, maybe even up to a size 32 eventually.

Morplan do a pair of nice ones in two sizes, about £80 each:

Look for 'tailor's Dummies. Morplan prices are withoutVAT, so remember to add that on. Sew Direct (the UK Butterick/Vogue site) has this one in two sizes also:

scroll down to see it. Both of these work just fine, within the known limitations of the adjustable tailor's dummy! ;)

I *KNOW* I've seen a kid's one recently, but where, oh where?

tailor's dummy! ;)

No... I'm sure it was here in the UK. It was pictured along with a load of adult ones, and it may have been in an older Morplan paper catalogue. I shall ring them up and ask!

I'd love the man's one and the kids one, but seem to have more use for the kid's one at present... Just wait till I get paid!
