Advice, please: sewing machine repair in Austin, TX

I am having problems with my White ATS serger and need to take it in for repair. Does anyone have recommendations for repair shops in town?

TIA, Jolynne

What town? What state? What country? You do realise this is USENET, don't you?

Um, yes, I'm quite familiar with usenet. That's why I put Austin, TX in my title.

The country? I think we're the only country that contains Texas.

Jolynne, I am not familiar with the Austin area, but I have a suggestion that may help. If you check the web site of the American Sewing Guild

and look into Chapters, you will find that there is a chapter of the ASG in Austin with an e-mail address of a contact. If you contact her, I'm sure she could give you a recommendation or would at least know who could recommend one. I am a member of the group in one of the NJ chapters and have met a lot of nice sewing friends there, too.

You could try the local dealer from which you bought your serger. Check

for a dealer near you.
