American Sewing Guild (ASG)?

I am a member of our local chapter. It is good to get together with others who sew, to exchange ideas and sometimes to help one another with things.

In my own opinion, it is an excellent organization. My eldest DD retired some years back because of her heath and was looking for a club in which to be involved, besides her church and missionary work.

She enjoys sewing as much as I do and since there was no ASG in the city where she lives, she and friends organized a chapter several years ago. They have had speakers come in to discuss different aspects of sewing and teachers to show a skill, etc. Also, diffent members teach each other techniques or show others some skill they wish to polish.

It seems to be an active guild. I live too far away to be involved with it. Emily
