made 100 dresses for a precious granddaughter. Not ordinary dresses. Each is a work of art. Too many dresses - what to do? Auction them for charity!!!

that's only 20 out of the 100, but it gives an idea.

It made me smile that grandmother got carried away - and kept creating more and more dresses. Nobody here would do such a thing, of course.......right? ;-)

They are works of art but they are not full-size dresses. She really did not make them for the granndaughter to wear. For the dolls, perhaps? Since they're miniature and not designed for the child anyway, why sell them? Why are they "too many?" Seems like the child would love them especially if they were made for her dolls....can't help but wonder if the child might feel bad about grandma selling her dresses!

My grandma made lots of dresses (although not a hundred) for my doll and guess what...I still have them, and the doll (and I'm 55), so I suppose my inner child is coming out with this :)
