That looks great, Beverly. I was thinking this morning about making my new DGDIL a couple aprons for her birthday( November 9th) or for Christmas, depending on if we go to SC before the 9th or not.
She is the one I haven't met, yet; different circumstances have prevented me from visiting FL since they met. I do know she likes to cook; her middle name is Iris, so she loves the flower & lavender is her favorite color, of course. She also favors the the FL 'Gators as well as the MS State Bulldogs since both she & Kyle both work for the university, and they are already involved with a church in Starkville.
I think I have several choices for designs, just have to decide. If DS will assist, maybe I can post a picture when I get them done.

Thanks, I know Sandra well, and I think she will be blown away. ;-)
Finished ***all*** the math yesterday, so I am ready to let-er-rip! Just one other project in the queue first, I want to finish my DS's purple cape, it's a Christmas gift, but once I begin the kilt I will not be doing much of anything else.

Thanks!
The really nice thing about making aprons is, you do not have to know exact size. ;-)
I would love to see pics. Do you need any designs? I have some nice irises...

When I saw the finished design it became very apparent as to what it is. Very nice! Juno

Well done. I hope she's copyrighted the logo. Much to our surprise, a slogan my younger son came up with is now appearing on t-shirts sold locally (it's a "local" reference slogan.) He didn't copyright it, never even thought of doing it. He doesn't mind that it's being used, it's his mother who is thinking that if he made just 50 cents per copy, he'd have more money in his pocket than he does now.

When I first received the image, I thought DD wanted just the lines within the design, and maybe a circle around it. We got a good laugh out of that when I sent her a first trial image. :-} It was only after she explained what those odd shapes represented that I "got it".
Thanks! I'm getting a reputation as a logo-on-aprons embroiderer/sewist, now my DSIL wants one too. She's an accountant and teaches at the local university. Maybe a big "$" on a green apron for hers? :->

She formed a corporation for her film company and had the logo professionally designed, so I assume she would have had it copyrighted. I'll mention your cautionary tale to my DD just in case, thanks.

Thank you, Beverly for the offer of the irises designs; I have to decide which pattern(s) to use. As I've mentioned before, an aunt left me many old patterns and I need to check them first. You are a very kind person and I appreciate all the help you've given me in the past.
BTW, when DD was here, I just took my wrap out of the drawer and said, "Look". She put it on and turned to her DH & son, telling them, "Mom is giving me my birthday gift early this year." Her B-day is the 20th. DS just looked at her and mouthed silently, a big NO. She said she was just teasing, but she would love one, please; although she lives in mid-central FL and probably would not need it often. I'm thinking, maybe for Christmas.

The $ sign would be perfect for an accountant or accounting teacher. LOL :)

I think so too. Although, my brother says she rarely (never?) wears aprons, so maybe I'll make one for him (the BBQ chef) instead. He's also a CPA. ;-)
