Another "road trip" to Trimtex Mill Store

Went with a couple of girlfriends down south to the "big city" of Williamsport today. I was on a mission. After the customary visit to Joanns, we went to the Trimtex outlet store. I've mentioned the place on here before, remarking how many trims the place has as well as how reasonable the prices are.

When I asked the woman if they did Internet service, she said that they didn't but people send their swatches to them to see if they can match them up. She also said that they send out swatches to people that request them. She also said that people call in to find stuff. Well, I was certainly delighted to find this out! My purchases today consisted of: 5 yards of t-shirt fabric for underwear at 50 cents a yard (it has embroidered flamingoes and palm trees on it) four yards each of five different kinds of elastic at 40 cents a yard, four yards of navy blue piping for my quilted sweatshirt at 25 cents a yard, four yards of navy double fold bias tape at 45 cents a yard, and the greatest thing of all.....a grab bag the size of a grocery bag of miscellaneous trims at $1.25. Today's giveway (free gift) was an embroidered pillow top in yellows, greens and purple. My girlfriend went out with six grocery bags of stuff and her bill was about $50.00. Great day even though it was pouring rain!
