But you *can* list them on eBay in the Collectibles category. "L@@K!!! Vintage beta tuits! Rare!"

Yes, we all know how often people enter "L@@K" and "Rare" into Search. The other popular sales technique is to make the TOS longer than the description of the item being offered. I love it when they tell you that they can't be responsible for anything unless you buy insurance. As if the insurance protected anyone other than the seller.

Nothing to see here. Move along now. ;-)

Buyer has rights. Seller has responsibilities. All the buyer is obligated to do is to pay.

However, caveat emptor.

To honestly describe his item(s).

But he should also investigate to the extent it is possible. I always look at seller's feedback.

You shouldn't lie to an occifer of the police farce, you know. About that drunk. Did you let him go on home?

Yes, and be very careful about that. Go back in his history, and read the comments. As long as you pay with Paypal funded by a credit card, you won't be out any money, but it's frustrating to buy something and not get it, and have to file for a refund. Especially if it's something you really wanted, perhaps by a certain date. Or it's a hard-to-find item. On the other hand, there are a lot of very good sellers on eBay.

I do always read the feedback, back for at leat six months, and always use PayPal with a CC. I have bought several things on eBay, and I've been stung badly only once, and that was because I allowed the seller to string me along too long, neither Pay Pal nor my credit card company would accept a complaint after 45 days. Live and learn.
